Initially concentrating on evaporative cooling as a low cost, green alternative to traditional air conditioning, the company has branched out offering heating solutions using the latest low energy electric, solar and infra red systems. Our low energy lighting range offers the most recent generation of low energy LED lamps. We also install thermal solar and photovoltaics which combined with all the above technologies can offer complete carbon neutral solutions.

In all of these fields the aim is to offer all clients sound advice on which products are most appropriate and most cost effective, backed up with full statistical and data analysis, full quotation of programme following site visits and plans, arrangement of finance (when required), assistance with Carbon Trust loan applications, complete installation and commissioning programme and ongoing aftercare and maintenance.

Managing Director Collen Baker, after a long corporate career involving extensive worldwide travelling and wanting to spend more time with a growing family, spotted a gap in the market for a company specialising in green low energy business solutions. Being a graduate engineer with senior sales experience he decided to cut loose the corporate life and Cool Tech Ltd was born.

In addition to the sale, supply and installation of cooling, heating and lighting systems, the company has a large servicing and maintenance department looking after evaporative coolers at over a 100 businesses, local authority sites and retail outlets. Cool Tech Ltd is the largest evaporative cooler specialist regarding servicing / after-care in the UK. In order to efficiently carry out this task, a full spectrum of spare parts is held in stock for all manufacturers of this cooling technology together with all the necessary equipment; This includes a lorry mounted 17m boom lift and 7.5m scissor lift allowing access to be gained to all locations of cooler.

All engineers employed by Cool Tech Ltd are fully trained in the servicing and maintenance of evaporative coolers, where lifts are being used operators have the appropriate IPAF qualifications.
